Not Again

Thanks for tarring the whole Caribbean financial service industry with the typical "offshore banking tax haven" brush. Please let me ask you; when you go to a store and they have a sale for "30% off" do you say: "This isn't right, I must pay the full price" When you get a tax deduction from a charity or RRSP do you say: "This isn't right, I CANNOT use this deduction" Not paying something that is NOT owed is smart not criminal. CRA hasn't "lost" money from Canada Steamship Liines or others as you state. This money wasn't taxable in the first place! Next time you write a COVER article please dig a little deeper and don't defame a whole industry on the basis of a few fraud cases.
